Mats Nilsson accepts to fight at The Zone FC Demolition

The Swedish popular middle weight fighter Mats Nilsson from Kaisho MMA from Helsingborg has accepted to fight at The Zone FC – Demolition, Sunday the 6th of May. Mats Nilsson defeated Gregor Herb at The Zone FC – Inferno last year. He won against Nikos Sokolis after that. 11th of February he will fight THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER 6 finalist Tommy Speer (19-5-0) at Cage Warriors at Fight Night 3 in Lebanon, Beirut. Speer has fought twice in the UFC but was released by the organisation following his 2008 defeat to Anthony Johnson. Nilsson is now ready for another epic battle at The Zone FC - Demolition.

Per Franklin accepts fight at The Zone FC Demolition

28-year old Per Franklin from Gladius MMA has accepted to fight at The Zone FC Demolition, the 6th of May in Lisebergshallen, Göteborg. He will fight at welterweight -77 kg. Opponent is yet to be announced. He has a total of 14 amatuerfights in shootfighting and amateur MMA and 9 wins. 19th of November 2011 he made his pro debute at Chicago Colison 9 in Finland and won by submission (side choke) in the 2:nd round at 3.10 min. He will have his second pro fight at Casino Fights in Denmark, 4th of February.

Magnus Strandner accepts fight at The Zone FC Demolition

Magnus Strandner from GBG MMA will fight at light heavy weight (-93 kg) and comes from a victory at Shooto Chicago Collision 9 the 19th of November in Finland. He won at side choke in the first round against Jani Pesonen. No opponent is yet announced.

The Zone Demolition is postponed to 31 March 2012

The tenth event of The Zone Fighting Championship was scheduled to be held on October 1, but will now be moved because of a number of injured profile fighters. Already purchased tickets are valid for the postponed gala.
Look forward to an eventful action-packed gala when The Zone Demolition will take place on March 31!
