On the 12th of October 2013 professional MMA returns to Gothenburg and Lisebergshallen with
The Zone FC 12 - 'Kamikaze'.
Building on the huge success of previous The Zone FC events "Kamikaze" will will continue in that same tradition. Expect spectacular fights as top Swedish fighters face competition from Europe and beyond.
In addition to the evenings full Pro-MMA fightcard there will be an amateur MMA event during the day - The Zone Challenge 2, a part of the Swedish Amateur MMA Leauge.
Get ready for a full day of MMA the 12th of October!

Yazid Chouchane injured Jerome Vaulerin replaces
Jonathan Svensson from VBC / Pancrase Gym has a change of opponent. Yazid Chouchane cut his eyebrow in training in the last preparations before the fight and he has to withdraw from the event.
Another french fighter takes his place, Jerome Vaulerin from Boxing Sqad. He makes his pro debute but he is 8-2 in muay thai and 5-1 in boxing.
It seems he is a stand up fighter. Jonathan Svensson also likes to stand up which means we may have an exciting fight in front of us.
The bout is in light weight, -70,3 kg.

Unfortinately Elina Nilsson has to withdraw from The Zone FC - Survival. The fight is cancelled.

Ion Pascu Vs Victor Cheng
Lucio Linhares got injured and was forced to withdraw from the middle weight title fight at The Zone FC against Victor Cheng.
A search for a replacement fighter started. Ion Pascu from Ministry of Martial Arts UK & Absoluto FC in UK took the fight on 10 days notice.
Ion Pascu is originally from Rumania but fights out of Essex, UK.
